This clip i showed you was about the amnesty bill last year and he was against it for the same reasons people like myself are against it, IT SUCKS!

LISTEN to your clip. He is Against the increase in Guest Worker provisions in the bill and NOT against Amnesty, and states that the bill needs to be reworked because of this.

Again, look at his voting record and look how Anti-Immigration sites score him. They score him very low because he supports Open borders and Amnesty.

That being said, TA I honestly for the most part like Bernie Sanders; he has a great many ideas. If I had the chance though I would never vote for him because of his stance on illegal immigration. By your own facts that you posted I don't agree with him. I think that is part of the problem with this country. Second, where does Bernie think this money will come from? I enjoyed watching Bernie ream Greenspan, but what is his thoughts on the current tax burden of Americans? Something has to give and we have a much bigger population than other nations with healthcare which obviously means more money will be needed.

Most of these posters have no concept of supply and demand economics. They are utterly clueless about this issue.

Big business and racial special interest groups keep "supplying" the USA with low wage low skilled workers who now are in direct competition with American workers. This supply has been unending. The people who are being imported are willing to work for less, live a lower standard of living, and dont plan on staying here and sending their money home.

Thus, the demand for native american workers is less and hence their salaries less because their is an over supply of these low wage immigrants.

Until we restrict illegal immigration, crack down on employers, and get serious about this issue, wages will remain stagnant for low skilled American workers.

How anyone does not understand this basic concept is beyond me.

National Institute of Health, NIH, is just one of the MANY, MANY, MANY government programs that work.

I have listed at least 50 departments in previous threads and will not bother to do your homework for you for now. Shame on you if you do not have the wherewithal to do a little research.
