just swallow the BCAA powder dry and chase it with the gatorade, i know it sounds nasty but most of them don't mix well with liquids, you'll get used to it.

besides being more expensive, the bottles have more high fructose corn syrup and less dextrose than powder

something to consider

You shouldn't really be drinking any fluids at the gym.

Also I wouldn't advise eating food within 12 hours of a gym session

You want all the blood in the muscle, not in your stomach digesting food and water

I just meant gatorade has slightly less carbs and calories per volume than say Pepsi or Mt. Dew.

I have used powdered Powerade as opposed to Gatorade, as it has Dextrose listed as it's main ingredient, while I think Gatorade's is fructose.  Two scoops of Now Nutrition's vanilla whey isolate and three scoops of Powerade's Mountian Blue flavor mixed with water postworkout, and it tastes like cotton candy. mmmm

To QuakerOates, I take BCAA caps or powder pre-workout, but post-workout I figure the whey will supply enough. Do you take the 10g of BCAA powder post-workout in addition to protein powder?
