Yesterday the Belgian Nationals was held in Holland (they do it in Holland to avoid some law(s))

The Belgian doping committee arrived at the weigh in and instantly every single competitor left (even the women) and the contest was canceled right away. Fucking hilarious ! It's all over the newspapers today obviously

Whats even more funny is the pictures of past events, these guys are smaller than most guys at natural shows are (go figure huh)

They seem to have rules concerning doping so I guess they do?
This test (or attempt to test) was done by the Belgian doping authority though, not nabba itself.

Yes. National commission can test any athlete competing under their flag wherever that may be.
The organisers apparently didnt even know this themselves, hence why they have been organising the Belgian nationals in Holland to this day

My understanding from a friend in Belgium, the doping commission has jurisdiction because many years ago NABBA Belgium requested recognition from the government as an official sports organization. IFBB Belgium did the same. Had it been just a private company or individual putting on a show, then they wouldn't have jurisdiction.

the inspectors were government officials, pretty much law enforcement officials, with the authorization to ban you from all sports for two years, giving you a permanent record. perhaps even affect your ability to get a job or government benefits.

Event canceled after competitors flee

BRUSSELS -- The Belgian bodybuilding championship has been canceled after doping officials showed up and all the competitors fled.

A doping official says bodybuilders just grabbed their gear and ran off when he came into the room.

"I have never seen anything like it and hope never to see anything like it again," doping official Hans Cooman said Monday.

Twenty bodybuilders were entered in the weekend competition.

Cooman says the sport has a history of doping "and this incident didn't do its reputation any good."

During testing of bodybuilding events last year, doping authorities of northern Belgium's Flanders region found that three-quarters of the competitors tested positive.
