Silverback gorillas are 5'5 and 400 lbs though. Not 6'2
Actually, mountain gorillas average 450 lbs and they have around 3% bodyfat when they eat their natural diet of leaves, stems, roots and occasional fruit.
But you're right. Even Kovacs wasn't silverback gorilla big. He did weight at this heaviest around 450 lbs, but with close to 20% bodyfat. And as you've pointed out, Kovacs is much taller, meaning that the gorilla is much bigger for it's stature. When you factor in bodyfat and height, the gorilla is much, much bigger still. As for strengh, and as super-humanly strong Kovacs was, a gorilla could rip Kovac's spinal cord from his body like if it were string cheese. A 450 lbs silverback is roughly 12 times stronger than an olympic weighlifter, and in pulling movements make that 20 times stronger. People don't understand just how powerful these creatures are. A gorilla could flip a family sedan...with a single arm.
