2 Working Sets
« on: May 21, 2009, 12:00:42 PM »
Per exercise. 2-4 exercises.

Intense. 25-30 minutes once the work begins.

I'm done experimenting.

Forever.

Petty much built my workouts for the last 10 years, or so, around 2 to 4 working set per muscle groups. Even one working set, per exercise, when into rest-pause and other higher rep (20+) squats, Dl's, cleans, C&J, etc. Or even PR work. Every 3 to 4 month I go on a GVT (ATTN: Geo) 6 to 8 week training cycle, to break it up a bit. Suits me well. Good Luck.

Revolutionary  that I seldom go to failure. Hence, not true HIT. Which is usually Hit or Miss at best.  Except with the case of heavy 1 set 20 rep breathing squats or DL's. Stunning I know, gripping to say the least.  Good Luck.

1) Hour or less, total.
2) It works well enough.
3) I no longer care what works "best."

Life is so much simpler these days.

ive always worked around this,,,, it depends on what mood im in on any particular day.... the goal was always work up to one perfect set... but you have days when your form is off or your just not feeling it, when u need to do an extra set to do the job,,,, some days your feeling realy strong and want to build up to a very heavy low rep set etc etc...
