My training clients Before & After Pics
« on: May 23, 2009, 10:43:03 PM »
He contacted me and asked me to help him with his contest prep.  This was his 1st show, and he ended up taking 1st place in the lightweight class.  This guy went from 204lbs to 150lbs, i started working with him at 10 weeks out.  Now if only i could get myself into this kind of condition!

Great transformation.  Just goes to show all these 200lb guys who think they'll be in contest shape at 180.  Maybe after the third show.

Again great transformation.  How did he place overall and is he gonna continue to compete?

He got 1st place in the lightweight class and lost out to the heavyweight competitor for the overall.   Judges made the comments that he was the most shredded guy in the show, but just lost the overall due to the lack of muscle mass compared to the heavyweight competitor.

What fat burners/stimulants did he use? His conditioning is very good.

yes he used ECA, and i put him on a carb cycle diet, but i adjusted every week, as well as some other tricks.  There's no need for keto diet to get into this type of condition, he just stuck to the diet, didn't cheat.  I allowed him to have things like diet pop, and carb free jello when he had cravings.  Actually i let him have one cheat meal of his choice, i think it was at the 3 week out mark, but it was just one cheat meal throughout the entire diet so he did pretty good for his 1st show.

Nice work. Certainly worked for him. He is obviously very strong willed/commited to his diet.

How much carbs was he taking in on average if you remember? (high day, low day)
No doubt about it...

Yes he was extremely strong willed and dedicated to his cardio and training.  He measured all his food and was very strict.

Too be honest. The guys had no muscle or shape to begin with. No wonder they went from 200 to 150 lbs.

really great transformation.  You should post his diet.

His before pics look like the typical gym rat where I workout and see the "stare" as they walk around thinking they are huge.  Just shows you that most of them are fat bloated up wanna be tough guys.

How tall is he?
Excellent work, looks like pretty optimal preservation of muscle.

He's 5'6, and yes we preserved his muscle mass pretty well considering he lost 54lbs, the side chest shot shows well that we pretty much just stripped the fat away.

he's standing directly under a big light in his room, and its shining off the top of his head.  look at his head in the rear lat spread in the blue trunks hair looks fine.
