people sometimes forget...its a 3rd world country without running water and electricity in most places and people live in poverty and 99% of the population is uneducated...combine that with religious idiots and you get the above result...

I didn't forget that it is a third world country, but i won't argue your point about that.

This has nothing to do with begging or being a better servant to God.
I was talking about the ladies that get extreme abuse or killed because the "forgot their place" and tried to be more.

This isn't a poverty issue as it happens across all classes and there are even cases of it happening here in North America.

I guess my point is this...
Just because a women strives to be a better person, higher educated, or a leader in society doesn't mean that it will make them unhappy.

I don't judge myself, my worth, or my happiness because I have a man to run home to and be subservient too.
I am single because I haven't found a man who can please me physically and intellectually, settling for less would make me unhappy.

Seems to me that these women didn't try to be men but yet, aren't to particular happy.

That's a crazy interpretation of what he was saying, which was not broad, but in fact quite specific. It's says a lot about what is going in your head...
