There wouldn't be any charges filed even if the lady pulled out a gun and shot him dead.  Any preceived threat to one's life is justified homicide and I believe that a guy hitting your car with a crowbar and demanding you to open the window is enough

that's good to hear. i was beginning to believe the your law system was more lenient to protect the criminals rather than the innocent.
