Abort the kid, get a used Dodge Viper or a Used Bentley for the same amount of money that you would spend on those other garbage cars.

I'm not sure if they have made a final decision on it yet or not...it may still be in the concept phase. It was rumored to be coming out in 2010 though. I'm not really an SUV fan in general, so I won't offer my opinion on it.

of course Ferrari has said that they would NEVER do a SUV, but word has come out that they have applied for a patent of a type of 4 wheel drive drivetrain, and also a new type of hybrid drive, and a new engine (V8)

Go with either the X5 or look at the Audi Q7.

I don't know anything about the Cadillac, but i would go a euro badge over an American car anyday.
No doubt about it...

have to get a crossover for the wife.

options:

bmw x5
merc ml350 4 matic
cadillac srx (2010, don't think it's out yet)

heavy favorite for now is the cadillac with the other two tied.

thoughts?

The X5 and ML350 are not Crossovers.

Driving the Q7 was like being on vacation.

Why not buy a used Bentley instead?  I do not understand some people.

I think TA is just saying that if you are going to spend that kind of money on a new crossover, why not just buy a cooler car that is a few years old for roughly the same price. For example, you can get a 5-year old Viper SRT-10 for a little under $50K. The problem with this is the repair and maintenance costs though, especially for something like a Bentley.

The thing with me is sometimes I just don't feel like showing off by driving by Bentley or Rolls Royce or Ferrari, so I'll just cruise around in the M5. Plus all the girls that wanna hook-up just get kind of annoying too...I'm just like "damn ladies, I can't bang all of you everynight; my cock gets worn out." If I really want to feel poor, I'll just drive around in my Lexus LS400. Its a 2009 and fully loaded, but it just feels so ordinary. I did screw a couple supermodels in the backseat after my workout the other day though.

i know what he's saying, and trust me, when the money comes for an old car, i'll know to ask him cuz he knows his classics. but for now, an suv/crossover is what we need.

check out the Lincoln MXK

test drove it, it was too snug inside, felt weird.

most are built in ohio, plus maintenance on them is done in US...

You just want a prestigious car like a "BWM" because you're a twink, correct?

it's not going into debt if you can pay it off at once.
it's my idea, not hers.  we got a kid on the way, and i don't want her driving around in a charger in the chicago winters.

as for the q7, for some reason i get sick to my stomach when i see the audi and vw logo, so i just couldn't stomach it.
If you're paying it off, why would you need good credit?
