you are right, sorry. here you go
"boycots" are for idiots. I make buying decisions on what is best for me - product quality, features, price, etc. People who make buying decisions to make political statement are arrogant, self-important asswipes.
People who made buying decisions regarding cars didn't buy a GM in the first place.
True. I just needed to comment on the whole "boycott" idiocy.
http://www.gmretardation.com/Do not buy another GM made vehicle. Let the government fuck itself for their stupid handeling of the situation.
Yeah, a friend of mine once said she wanted to boycott a certain gasoline stand chain, and drove a few miles to the next gasoline stand, but when i pointed out the other gasoline stand was actually getting the stuff from the same refinery and that the extra amount of gasoline she spended driving to the next gasonline station was a waste, the topic was off the table. Boycotts are for left wing idiots.
And the union workers who get paid 75 bucks and hour to work on an assembly line. Fuck that shit.
no one is getting paid $75/hour to work on an assembly line.http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/11/24/opinion/main4630103.shtmlaverage pay is $28/hour, plus $10/hour in additional benefits. The $70/hour comes from adding the total costs of all employees and retirees, then dividing it by the number of hours the employees work.
If you thought you'd heard the last of the Bush administration. Cheney recently admitted that they slid $17.4 billion to keep Detroit on it's feet long enough for them to slip out the door -ie. GM would declare bankrupcy on Obama's watch. linky: http://www.autoblog.com/2009/06/09/cheney-bush-left-gm-bankruptcy-for-the-next-guy/
