Doubtful.

The major difference is portions and availability of quantity. You can get much more quantity in an American supermarket than say, a French one, for cheaper. That of course is just one factor but it definitely is one...

I think they are very similar in outlook and mentality but there are small differences. I have worked with loads of Kiwis and Aussies, very similar indeed.
