Michael Jackson’s workouts with Lou Ferrigno may have been too much
Michael Jackson was always concerned about the product of his live show. Jackson would not accept an inferior performance to resonate upon the gleaming eyes of his beloved fanatics. The dedication that Michael Jackson invested into his performance quality was his motivation for the physical preparation he withstood leading up to his comeback. A physical preparation, designed by Lou Ferrigno, that a 50 year-old Jackson possibly could not withstand.
People magazine quoted in its June 18, 2009 edition, that Lou Ferrigno was indeed the personal trainer that Michael Jackson had employed to mold his physic for the physical grind of a 50 stop world tour. The article quoted Carla Ferrigno as stating “Lou and Michael have known each other for a long time…Lou first trained Michael 15 years ago.”
Lou Ferrigno is known by many as the star of the 1970’s television hit “The Incredible Hulk.” Ferrigno, 57, has trained other notable celebrities in the past including Mickey Rourke and Chuck Norris. Ferrigno’s exact routine for such celebrity clientele is not publically known but the workouts have brought substantial results including the muscle gain of Mickey Rourke for his own comeback last year, the film “The Wrestler.”
The physical demands of a workout routine along with the age of Jackson could have been a mixture of stress on Michael’s heart that lead to the apparent heart attack and cardiac arrest.
