in what regard are you refering to?
Too much information but most people aren't smart enough to dissect reasonable information from pure bullshit.
People also can't appreciate the difference between actually knowing something and being able to google it.
Books, newspapers and so on are so much more expensive than bandwidth so everyone can basically 'publish' without being vetted, qualified, or challenged in any reasonable manner.
In the past... there was an actual process to becoming a writer. Now all it takes is a computer, internet access and a blogspot/forum. I hold Anne Frank 100% responsible for most of this mess. Her diary gets published and now every fat housewife or soccer mom envisions themselves trapped in an emotional attic in Holland, hiding from the Nazis and is desperately trying to find some relevance in their life.
Ultimately the internet has pushed us to a point where the capacity to do something and actual ability have become blurred. Having a computer, internet access no more mean someone has the ability to write than a full gym does they can squat 1200 pounds.
