For those of you in the USA who still think rugby isn't skilled...take a look at this, by our own team The US Eagles I might add...bear in mind that in order to score the USA guy has to outpace Brian Habana a man who clocked 10.2 seconds for the 100m...enjoy

Rugby is a very tough sport that requires less athletic ability than pro football. A lot less.

Like i said earlier they are different sports, with different specialised positions. Trust me if you could stop after every play in Rugby and bring on a defensive team whenever you didnt have the ball it might be different. That's not dissing NFL just saying its different requirements...and if you knew anything about the ethos of rugby you'd know that its not the kind of sport people go into for the money, even though the top pro's make a fair amount these days. NFL did try to poach a few players but they all turned down the offers, I think the only one who did go was Gavin Hastings who became a kicker.

there's a world of difference between a top rugby player who" might have " made it in the NFL and the fucking stars of the game or even as an average

top football players are in a diff stratosphere then top rugby players simple as that

2. lack athletic ability aka armchair QB's
