after all those years of competing u still don't get it.Ronnie or Kai or other pro bodybuilders could not make dramatic gains as armatures cuz they could not afford to pay for large dosage of steroids and GH.armature means low dosage of steroid without GH or insulin.as soon as they turn pro and start making money boom they explode cuz they can afford to buy large quantity of steroid and GH.

that makes no sense

they'd have to have the $$ to get big enough to turn pro in the first place...get it?

Let me shed a little light on Musclemania.com.  I am a Musclemania pro, and have been for the last 5 years.  The top 5(in each category) do get tested...but as of recently they have tightened things up by testing before the show to make sure those that fail, will not make it to the stage.  Testing is hard to do, so promoters have to change things up to keep the athletes off balance.  In the past year alone, at least 12 bodybuilders have failed their drug test and are suspended(to include several Pro's).  Everbody(Intelligent) knows that drug testing does not keep the cheaters out..at best...it makes it another obstacle.

Many past and preent bodybuilding stars have started in Musclemania.  Some have chosen to take the "other" route by heading to NPC then IFBB(Current NPC-IFBB Stars-Stan McQuay, Brandon Curry, Mark Alvisi, Sami Smith, Dan Decker etc)...while other have stayed natural(Skip Lacour, Ade Rai, Delino Dixon, Tito Raymond, Morris Mendez, Ulysses etc).  These type of bodybuilders are the one's that get the most magazine covers in comparison to IFBB pro's.

natural u say ... ru4 real

I do not know where the communication breach is.  For anybody that has been in bodybuilding for a while, knows a great deal about who is juicing or not.  Its not only about bitch tits(gyno). One of the key indicators to look off is if an athlete had any major fluctuations over the years.  Dan Decker for instance, was a great natural.  When I competed against him a few years ago, his highest weight at that time was 195-198lbs(Awesome Physique) at around 30 years old.  Now he competes in NPC at around 220+lbs.  It is safe to say that he was natural around the time I competed against him, because a person at that age does not improve that dramatically from year to year.  Same goes for Brandon Curry.  In Musclemania, he competed at around 190lbs.

For all of those natural genetic freaks out there(they do exist)...most of their major improvements are at the beginning.  After a few years of training naturally hardcore, the dramatic improvements will not happen anymore.  Brandon Curry was a freak to begin with at 21 years old.

Same thing goes for the steroid users.  After a fews years on normal bodybuilding cycles, their dramatic improvements will cease to exist.

Mr Olympia Ronnie Coleman was the best example for all the dumb people of the sport.  Till like 30yrs old, everbody thought he was lying when he said that he was natural.  In the late 90's when he made his DRAMATIC improvements...then it was safe to say he was natural all along.  Same goes goes for Kai Greene.  He was a NATURAL FREAK.  Now he is a STEROID FREAK.  Our next Mr. Olympia!(Grapefruit and all:-)

Last but not least...If someone competes in a natural organization for a long period of time....more times that not, they eventually get caught.

Easy, they were probably using moderate dosages at the time, and upped it to compete at a higher level. IMO, and most would agree, there are no natural bber's in this day and age, period. People that buy into this bullshit are naive or simply plain stupid!

Really?? Stan McQuay is living the life much better then all those guys mentioned plus Tito Raymond has competed in the NPC for as long as I remember and still couldn't get his pro card.

I think the point he was making was that photogenic people like Stan and Tito can make a very good living being very muscular but not mass monsters.   Both were on dozens of magazine covers and had major endorsement contracts without/before being an IFBB pro.

These federations are actually very good for the sport and to improve the quality of federations’ services … one dominating federation (monopoly) will result in athlete’s slavery and crucifying them when they are not wanted (for personal, political or technical reason)

A lot of good guys have come out of these federations and some of them turned pro and are in top 10 Olympia … however … once they get enough exposure and know they can do better … they cross to IFBB where the real playground is

More federations means more options for the athletes (shows, prize money, status … etc) … specially if they get alienated by the IFBB … through other federation they can make name for themselves + get exposure nationally and internationally …

Very well put Ali. The more competition between federations the more benefits for the athletes. It will definitely cause the federations to have to step up their games.  Let's hope these new federations breath new life into our sport.

i was just going through their web not a single contestant worth to get a 2nd look.i still don't understand what these sort of fedrations are trying to prove or accomplish.they are as worth less as tits on the board.
what ifbb is doing how can any jack ass fed put some loser's in one place and callled it world or universe championship.

It started as an NPC show   I remember Dennis Newman won the one in San Diego.   Not sure why it left the NPC!

You're a "Competitor"...how much have you made as an amateur (=non IFBB "pro")?
