The most naive should be the americans who speak like this.
 The collapse of the soviet union wasn't the merit of the USA by any means, it's been a general historic process, sooner or later it would have turned out that by itself. What I always read is that russian army rusty and old and americans have that F 22 etc. I'm very far from being an expert of the modern weapons and how the war should be conducted but listening and reading the different views on it, if the war is begin between the USA/NATO vs Russians it will die or live, irrelevant of the military budget's. Not that bad the things are in Russia as you wanna see or know as of yet.
 President Obama was cool in Russia without that mentor tone in his speeches, he seems like understands the modern things as they are. The USA is pretty obvious going down and in the future it's no more a super power nor that you've had a significant history as a state.
 Underestimating your rival is the key guys.
