I agree, but you can't say that about Dorian, who wasn't lacking in anything except for his biceps (and even then, only post-tear). Flex was maybe 10% off (or less) his 93 AC form in the 93 Mr Olympia and he himself said Dorian was "untouchable". Flex is "pretty" to look at in his 93 AC form, but has a lot of weaknesses - not much thickness from the sides (although he posed in such a way as to hide that defect), narrow shoulders, lats disappearing in the abs and thigh pose, lack of width in the rear lat spread and arms that were a little too big for his torso, although I'm just nitpicking there.
There's a reason Dorian dominated like no other Mr Olympia did and that was during what everyone agrees was the time when the standard of competition was at it's highest. He had too much of an edge in size, density, thickness and width for Flex to compete. That's why nearly all of the guys (except Nasser post 96) were defeated mentally before they even stepped onstage against him.
