Yip - I agree. I did have a shot at sparring with a few martial artists. On the positive they were really pretty impressed with the strength of my kicks and punches (all into a foam bag they wear to absorb impact in training). We also did a few sparring sessions of mainly boxing, and they took turns bopping me in the face and nose trying to teach me to keep my guard up. But during the sparring I found I could really not give it my best as I was worried I would hit them too hard (in a real fight I would go all out but for sparring I am not sure what strength to use).

But yes, of course Brock would beat me, and beat me badly I am sure! All I am saying is that I would give it my best shot if I had a chance.

with any sport I found you cannot just take it up as it takes YEARS to hone the skills and apply them...
at least it was my experienc

and a real match is a whole diff ballgame

It's like that with any complex area you want to master. It takes many years to get good and often 10+ years of daily practice to become one of the best (and that is if you have good talent)

Sure - ageree. What I would do is simply to try to get my very best punches in, basically go into a fighting frenzy and hope to get some powerful punches to that thick skull of his. I think it would be real tough going once he got me down and on top of me and started bashing me from above...

many think like you

unfortunately BEFORE you start your flurry he'll land a first shot and lights out

I tried sparring with a national boxing champ when I was 18 and it wa hillarious

for starters he moved much better and coudn't catch him with anything...and when I did get close he ALWAYS hit me first

it was humbling to say the least lol

Of course it does...but after puberty there is no more spike in testosterone production... insulin works differently in the body.... it is used to break down carbohydrates in your body, the levels go up and down as you eat stuff..

Depends. Humalog for example isn't identical to endogenous insulin.

There are some problems with testing for it but it can be done.

And its sooo much as you say difference between someone that kicks hard and someone that kicks HARD.

When I trained wrestling, they train muy thai in the same place.

Anyway One of the trainer showed them how to do a hard kick.
Anyway so he does one and everyone was like wow!!.

and then he says "So ok, lets do it hard this time"

BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM HOLY SHIT  ;D

Brock Lesnar did win the fight last night hands down, but I lost respect for the guy. Yes he did was he was going to do, but he acted like a complete asshole. When the fight was going to start, he didnt tap gloves with Mir, which is rude, and shows, poor sportsmanship.

Then he knocks the Frank Mir out and points his finger at him and he says, talk your shit now??????? A athlete with integrity would know that by knocking the guy out you made enough of a statement. To verbally belittle a person who you obviously beat, shows, very poor sportsmanship aswell.

He won the fight, he should have shook Franks hand, the best man won. To make mattrers worse the arrogant prick flips off the crowd. What kind of nut job flips of the fans who supported him and paid to see him fight???? .You never bite the hand that feeds you.

He is lucky he flipped of the audience in Vegas and not NY. If he would have flipped of the ground in NYC they would have beat his ass. He is lucky 3 or 4 guys didnt get together and say, you want to flip off the huh???? Then beat his cocky ass, lol.

I know he apoligised in the post fight press conference, but his behavior, is uncalled for. He is a pretty good fighter, but he isnt great. He is just a big ass farm boy, with some skill.Trust me there are alot of guys who would clean his clock.

Anyways, I cant wait for somebody to get in the ring, and beat his ass, after the way he acted last night. There is nothing worse then a cocky arrogant athlete with poor sportsmanship.I have no respect for any athlete who has poor sportsmanship, I dont care how big or how good he is.A good athlete has respect for others, and always shows good sportsmanship. If you cant show good sportsmanship they shouldnt let you fight or compete at that sport.

Everything you just said is what made his stock rise with me 100%.  We call this a good ole fashion heel turn.
