Wow...that's a look that you don't see today. He doesn't quite have that bloated look that Jay and Co. seem to have these days. Whether it's the 'slin and just massive doses or whatever- and certainly Ronnie is on a similar stack- Ronnie just has a crisp look to him and his muscles still pop. He lost that in later years though.
Too bad he couldn't hold that through the rest of his 5 Olympia wins.

From this video I just don't see why people brag so much about the 01 AC being his best condition or show ever.
Maybe it's the lights, but to me his condition seemed much better in 98, 99, and even 03.

well, I have long maintained that he was better at the 99 olympia,

despite the fact that the nuthuggers (ie ND) love to shove a quote from Peter McGough claiming otherwise down our throats

most people on all the boards say the same thing when shown the two clips. less of a gut, bigger, just as hard etc.

compare ronnie AC to the 99 olympia prejudging and its quite clear he was better and bigger in 1999:
