Again, I understand it perfectly. In case you didn't know, it started (or at least came into prominence) during the 98 Mr Olympia, where Ronnie was bone dry and Flex was holding water. Flex's upper body was still a bit dry, but his hams and glutes weren't as ripped. So Ronnie gave himself a wedgie to show everyone the difference in the conditioning between the two of them and it just seems to have become a bit of a trend now.

And I don't care to watch a bodybuilding show unless it's the Olympia or AC or something like the Grand Prix shows where the top IFBB pros are competing. My point is that during Arnold's time or Lee Haney's time or even Dorian's time, this thong business onstage never occurred. Are you saying that it therefore wasn't bodybuilding or any less hardcore than it is compared to shows like this one where the guys show off their asses as much as they can?
