I do believe unions are necessary - we don't want to go back to the beginning of the industrial revolution where workers had no rights. In fact I'm sure if you look at some third world shit hole you can see exactly what effect not having a union has.

Anyone ever notice how those who support unions are also pro illegal immigration?

If the 20-30 million jobs taken from Americans were parlayed to the union and employers were forced to pay a decent wage, wouldn't this whole debate become moot?

No more bitching about jobs going overseas, the manufacturing sector gets a huge infusion of American workers, etc. etc.-->

As Cap said, most of these jobs a trained monkey could do; High paychecks for unskilled labor-- If corporations were really greedy, they would get machines to replace everyone; Next up, toll booth clerks can go too-- exact change only.
