medicare "part A" (Hospital) You earn it, by paying for it (while you worked)
Medicare "part B" ( Doctors Visits) you pay 96.40 a month for it
Medicare A and B :
You choose your hospital, you choose your doctor, you go in when you want, as often as you want, If by chance You go to a Doctor, and their is a long line, you find a new one next time. ( you chose)
you dont need a referral to go to a specialist.
You earned it ( you worked and paid for it) and it is good.
Medicaid: for the poor ( including people age 65 and older)
You have a doctor chosen for you, you have more red tape, Clinics that take Medicaid have longer waiting times, you cant just go to a specialist without getting an approval.
it is free.
Their is a difference in the 2
