"Do you like black people?" is loosening the tongue.
"So, you don't like black people" is an attempt to put words into his mouth.
Don't try to play me!
Not trying to play you, ...but seeds can only grow in fertile soil. He loosened his tongue and he spoke what was on his mind, and revealed, not only the hypocrisy of his position, but the subtle racism behind it.
He goes from reparations right to there's no free lunch and people don't want to pay for what they get, ...while at the same time acknowledging that he is a recipient of benefits, he did not pay for.
Even though he's not currently paying any income tax, he did at one time. I'm led to believe he also served time in the military. He does pay tax on everything he uses, though, and many of those taxes on things like communication and fuel are federal taxes.
As does every other person who lives and consumes goods & services. He advocates no free lunch. Pay up or get out, ...yet he is partaking in a free lunch.
He absolutely has a right to speak on the issues that are important to him, even if he's not directly responsible for paying the costs anymore. He's there to protest, because his children and grandchildren are at work, and he wants them to be able to keep as much of their earnings as possible.
He has a right to speak his mind, ...but that right to speak his mind doesn't preclude someone else's right to recognize the stupidity, and hypocrisy, and irationality of his argument.
