but one thing that can't be argued is that he was a cornerstone of the NBA in the 80's and continues to be a front office influence with the Pacers (i think he is still president of basketball operations for Indiana,no?)

actually they DON'T suck at basketball.....they simply chose to go into other fields.....very few white guys grow up saying they want to be a basketball player..it's basically something they fall into in high school and college and then they decide to go into the NBA at the last minute...they usually want to work in corporate America or for their daddy or rich uncle....

Black guys usually set out to be in the NBA..so they work harder at it and practice more

oh I disagree....and I'm not saying all white guys are rich, but all white guys pretty much know they will get a fair shake in the corporate or business world because hey won't be discriminated against....plus black guys are not actively recruited by corporations like whites are........so for many black guys, the NBA looks attractive because  of the money and lackl of discrimination...if they are the best, they will play and will get paid..not necessarily so for blacks in corporate America

Ok I hear what you're saying.  White people have an inate belief that they can do whatever they want, whatever they set their mind to.

From what I hear I think things are a lot harder for you guys in the States than for us in the UK.  Racism obviously exists here, but I'm not convinced it's quite as racial here.

Survival of the fittest as Darwin said. Black people come from a hard history of being slaves. Thus they had to be very strong to survive. The ones with inferiour strength couldīnt survive the hard labour, but the stronger ones lived through it and carried those powerfull genetics further. This still shows today since a higher percentage of blacks have far superiour genetics for physically damanding sports and have more athletic bodies in general. Sad but true. Not meant to hurt anyones feelings. Iīm ashamed of being white, even though my country never engaged in slavery.
