The only hole I find in that argument is that they gave him the Jr Nationals last year, and in my opinion probably shouldn't have won his weight class. I'm just going by pictures. Being that the show was in Chicago, were you there and if so, did you agree with him winning?
Good point. I thought Liberatore should have won that show but I think the NPC had bigger and better plans for him. Obviously.
I was on the horn talking to a 'Sean Allen' expert yesterday (oh, brother!) and he told me that the NPC will torture him by giving him a show like the Junior Nationals only to tease him and give him a false sense of hope for him to keep paying, keep trying and keep wishing as he enters other shows that GIVES away Pro Cards to fuck him over.
Look. No doubt Sean has a sick torso but he does have shit legs and doesn't get ripped like a Tamer or grainy like a Yates. Even if Sean came in with 15lbs more muscle with much improved wheels and was hard as a diamond and the other guys in the show all came in looking soft and pudgy he would still probably only get 2nd. He's blacklisted. 100%. He put the final nail in his coffin by throwing a tantrum on stage last weekend. Props to Kirk DeFransisco for ignoring him and holding his pose.
To think the NPC wouldn't do something like that is ludacris. The NPC isn't een a real organization governed by real rules and ethics. It's ran by schmoes, homos and angry perverts who think they are gangsters. What's really stopping them from playing politics or holding grudges against people?
You think Sean would make that public apology otherwise? He knows he fucked up and he should know by now that THEY will never forget.
