great rare shot ND, IMO Sergio looked awesome in the late 1960s (more so 66,67,68) not as huge as 70-74 but his muscularity/shape/dencity and overall muscle flow was outstanding for the times, in 1971-1973 he took his physique to incredible proportions peaking @ the 72 O, however his muscle dencity/hardness/detail suffered somewhat as a result of the increase in size.

He was not at his best all-time condition during the '72 Olympia, as evidenced by a little smoothness especially in the thighs. Schwarzenegger though, wasn't any sharper at that show. Unfortunately there aren't many pics of him at his best.

Sergio, Arnold, Lou, etc truly excelled with the gear they had.....few - perhaps Haney - managed to achieve so much with their body without the extreme stuff like insulin / hgh / et al.

its a universe apart from what they look like shit compared to the golden years......spilling all over the place....guts, synthol, ridiculous proportions and the rest.....its become a circus act
