He went after one of his own teammates...I didn't see that part initially.

After watching the replay a couple of times and seeing the part involving his own guy, the ONLY reason he shouldn't be kicked off the team permanently is ...what?

Ok, he was provoked, but the fact that he had enough energy to drop that guy with one punch means he didn't put enough effort into his play during the game.

Probably not. He said all the right things after the game, but NO WAY should he have been allowed near any cameras at that time. That was a huge mistake by their SID.

There's nothing at all wrong with patting a guy on the helmet or shoulder pads after a hard-fought game.

You've got to keep your mouth in check, but it's reasonable to have some contact after a battle.

It really messed up the fact college football started and the game ended good....but I think the hit was a bit over hyped.....Sportscenter had to bring it up ASAP after the game.
