The Battle of Stirling Bridge was a battle of the First War of Scottish Independence. On 11 September 1297, the forces of Andrew Moray and William Wallace defeated the combined English forces of John de Warenne, 7th Earl of Surrey and Hugh de Cressingham near Stirling, on the River Forth.

yes this was the day Bush and his Administration allowed a horrible attack to take place in the heart of NYC, destroying national landmarks that remain inexcusably a symbollic hole in the ground to this day almost a DECADE later, and THOUSANDS of american civilians killed, simply as justification to launch his own personal crusades in the middle east, resulting in THOUSANDS MORE americans killed as well as HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of iraqi people brutally killed...

Some places are fine, others are a little bit off colour. Still, always a lot of people there, so it's pretty fun. Way better if you have somewhere to stay in the city, rather than trying to get a cab home.
