We have many Greeks in my community, almost all the families I know of are very successful. Much higher percentage of financial success then non Greek families I know, or know of.
The Greeks here came in the early 1900's and later some of them paid the way for others to come over. They own a large grocery in town, several commercial and residential rental properties, several good restaurants, and other businesses.
What's the deal with these people?

What's the saying? The first gen builds it, the second generation consolodates it, and the third generation spends it...
it's like this for Korean communities, and on the West coast, the Chinese, Korean, and other Asian communities.
