you should try it out for a while and see what happens.  Do you post on any other boards?  If so go play the middle for a while and see what happens.  Take a chance on a few things and side left.  I guarantee you will get a whole new perspective on how people try to force you to one side.  It won't take long at all for you to see someone saying the same things about you that you say about 240.
