Team Universe: Ron Harris pic - he competed!
« on: September 19, 2009, 07:24:59 PM »
Ron Harris is a great writer, but he just doesnt have the genetics to bodybuilding. Here is a pic from Team Universe, he looks like a middelweight, even though he is a lightheavyweight.I saw the pics and he just doesnt quite cut it.If his arms were 15" I would be shocked.

Ron is a great writer, I think he should stick to writing

He's about as natural there as Jose Raymond is right now.

He is a liar.

If you want to talk about Ron's physique (objectively and with no "getbig bias") posting a front double bicep shot of any competitor is a good place to start
i see (and maybe im wrong u can correct me)
great lower body! quads/calves look good
i see a "wider" looking waist, needs more back and lats ...arms arms arms (need to be brought up)
delts/abs/chest look pretty good

a fair assesment?

Ron = seems like a good guy with a love for the sport!

Sure, as long as you don't suggest he should bring up those lacking body parts. It's not going to happen.

Of course. Only thing he can do is get implants or shoot them up.

And it's not as if he hasn't trained the arms more and harder than everything else.

Suggesting body parts to bring up to a seasoned competitor or weight lifter is useless advice 99.9% of the time. Same as guys here suggesting you bring up your legs, or whatever.

Having seeing Rons youtube training clips , I think there is still room for improvement , firstly he needs to use better form.
His arms have always been a weak area , that genes but He can make improvements with using correct training and upping the dose  :D

That would be a mistake. At least he has great quads now. Letting the legs downsize would make him even more unimpressive and placings would be even worse.

see i differ here with you.....i honestly think i can bring my legs up (even as old as i am/and training so long)
the difference is  knowledge (do i ever think my legs will be a "strong point"/no) but i have trained them inncorectly (2 heavy/shitty form/not going low enough/deep enough) im going to try (after my broken foot heals lol!)  ass to the floor squats (around the 10 -12 rep range) walking lunges (something i have NEVER done/more isolation movements and giving quads and hams their own seperate days (see what happens right)

in 3 weeks with 90 degree squats (always done atg before) me legs are already bigger then they have ever been, Im sad I wasted alot of time doing atg when it obviusly didnt do shit for me lol
