Nasser clearly beats Jay in abdominal & thighs and maybe standing relaxed and you can argue front double biceps pose but all other poses Jay clearly bests Nasser

Okay, so you're admitting that Nasser is better in 3 mandatories, and there are 7 mandatories in total - so that itself shows you do admit it is close at least. I would disagree that Jay beats Nasser in the side poses and the back poses which may go to Jay are not as decisive as Nasser beats Jay in front poses like the ab and thigh or front double biceps...therefore Nasser > Jay

Actually I posted earlier that IMO 2009 Jay would get 5th or 6th in any Olympia from 95 to 2000, so therefore it's not just a matter of Nasser being better than him.

More than just poses my friend in a contest and there are eight mandatories 1) front double biceps 2) rear double biceps 3) ab-thigh 4) side chest 5) side triceps 6) front latspread 7) rear latspread

most muscular much to learn about competitive bodybuilding you still have

don't forget the standing relaxed from the front , rear and the 1/4 turns which Nasser would win maybe the front one

Jay considered all this would clearly beat Nasser not closely

The bottom line is that while Jay inevitably climbed the mountain to grab not just 1, but now 3 Sandows, Nasser took a detour to Synthol Land. Nasser struggled to win 1 Arnold title, while Jay won 3. Jay > Nasser. Physique vs physique, Jay still gets the nod, sorry. 2001, or even the Jay of this past weekend trumps any version of Nasser.

alright i pretty much never post here but i thought this post was funny. if levrone and cormier are better then jay then why did he routinely beat them? levrone and cormier always beat dillett so i would say jay would as well. look at the contest history. everyone sees jay as a blcoky bber but when he stands next to some of these narrow bbers he puts them to shame. side by side he beats nasser+cormier+levrone etc. coleman and yates ok those are different but the rest jay would hold his own if not win. just look at this year when he was standing next to branch (another mass monster) at the end of the show and absolutley made him look like a child. just one white mans opinion by the way!

In 2001 Jay served notice and actually beat Ronnie during the prejudging rounds. Ronnie may not have been at his all time best, but was still no slouch in 2001 either. Are we to believe that the physiques only a year prior to that in 2000 would have destroyed the 2001 version of Jay? Hardly. There are bodybuilders you list who were better, in theory only. Dillett could have been a monster unlike any ever seen before, but didn't amount to even a fraction of what he could have. Shawn Ray? Shawn never changed drastically from year to year. Where did Shawn place in 2001? Levrone, though accomplished, never really seemed to put it all together for the O. He had years where he looked very good, like 1995, but are we to believe 2001 Jay wouldn't be able to hang with him? He would have and may even defeat 1995 Levrone. Francois was very good, but never had a chance to explore his full potential and would not have defeated 2001 Jay or 2009 Jay. Nasser, well, Nasser was too one dimensional. Flex had the world by the balls, but not once did he ever come into the Olympia at his all time best. I'll put 2001 Jay against any Olympia version of Flex Wheeler, any day. All time best Flex, that might be different. Cormier? Could of, should of, would of, but didn't.

Photo against photo isn't the way to judge. They truly need to be side by side to really judge the detail, thickness and symmetry. No one argues that Nasser looks great but it's hard to compare the two by a photo. Actually Jay has the advantage in that photo comparison because Sherief put them at the same height even though Jay is shorter. Dexter and Heath are not good examples as they are both smaller than Jay and solo pics don't show that as much, but with Nasser that's not the case.

Honestly, Hulkster's obsession with Ronnie, and Sharief and Bob's obsession with Nasser are just incredible. I don't think any form of Nasser would beat Jay, and only Ronnie in top form (98/99/03) would beat the 2009 version of Jay.

Jay dominated one of the most competitive lineups ever with straight firsts....give credit where credit is due.

Agree. This was Jay's 95 Olympia in one way.

If 97 Nasser had competed, he would have placed second because Jay would easily hold his own from the front and sides while blowing him away from the back.
