Don't shave your pitts with a razor imo.  The itch isn't worth it and fishing an ingrown hair out of a giant zit in your armpit with a sewing needle is no way to spend your saturday night.  Use clippers there, but leave a little room between the cutting blades or you'll snag some skin.

GetRowdy shaved for MGB 1 and ended up in hospital with 100s of ingrown hairs, or so he said.  He looks like a naturally hairy bastard tho, possibly Mediterranean descent.  I can't help you with first hand advice on bodyhair since I have a minimum, except to say that shaved legs on a guy look peculiar imo.

If you have hair on your love handles and the back of your shoulders, shave or at least trim it up. If it's nothing serious, just make sure that you're well groomed and that should be enough. I think it's hilarious when dudes get a hair cut and there's a ton of hair on their neck all curled up. Or when someone's got a shitload of hair on their lower back... to me that's just dirty. I don't shave my body but I stay groomed well. We're not dogs or anything.
