I try to avoid going into areas where crime is high and the likelihood of getting messed with is high.

But when I do, I usually opt for the fanny pack pack full of glock with that vigilant look on your face.

To the punk, you either look like a cop or worse, you look like an armed citizen.  Kids know who to avoid.  If you're dying for a chance to fck up one of their days, you won't be intimidated when they start shit.  Your face will light up at the chance to smash one of their heads into the street for accosting you, and shelling their whole crew on the odd chance they try to help.

Many won't test you with what you say, but if they think you a cop, you ain't going to get any help like direction, or anything. The ones you should be wary of are not the punks and loudmouths, it's the quiet ones. I've had rapists and murders in front of me, and they are quietest people, you won't hear a peep. Usually the ones who are disorderlies are the biggest loudmouths.
