And by the way, Jay's best was 2006 and not 2009. Some say 2001, but Jay was extremely full and still had his stomach under control in 2006. I think Jay's physique this year was a smightly smaller and more detailed version of his 2006 physique, with less fullness.

Like others, I was impressed with the 2009 version of Jay. He has often been underestimated, but when on his game he is a legit force. That said, and despite his great showing this year, let's not get carried away. While I do believe he could give 1995 Yates a run in some ways, let's not delude ourselves into thinking he would dominate.

When it comes to conditioning, Dorian wrote that book. Jay could come in on point, but Dorian would still have the edge overall. No one came in as hard and grainy as Dorian. In terms of size, Jay has size to spare and may have a slight edge in thickness. However, Dorian was no slouch here either. Dorian would hardly be out massed. Dorian was so dense and conditioned, that he made heavier competitors sometimes appear smaller in comparison. Nasser is but one example of this. It would be an interesting scenario, but I don't see Jay coming away with a win over 1995 Dorian. Not unlike how I could never envision Dorian, under any circumstances, losing his title to Dexter.

Jay was good enough this year to push both Ronnie and Dorian, even at their respective bests. However, I still think the quality of Dorian and Ronnie would likely prevail, but I can't be sure.

The bottom line is that no one knows (it is fun to speculate though) unless we see them side by side. Most of us on here have the sense to realize this, everyone except dumber than delusional Hulkster. Guy is so Ronnie-obsessed that it's making me sick.

Ronnie was at his biggest in 2004 and Jay still had the bigger rear lat spread. Which means that if you compare his 2009 version (which is bigger and drier) to Ronnie's much smaller-than-2004 version of 99, you'd find Jay outmuscles Ronnie.

Ronnie would win, but it would be touch and go, like 2001

2009 Jay outweighed the 1999 flex, cormier, and levrone by 20-30lbs each. That's reality. Jay was ripped and much bigger. Jay now has no weak points.

Wrong. He was in great shape sans the gut, just not in the best condition. He still had freaky vascularity and separation, not to mention he improved a whole lot for the finals. I'd say there was maybe a 5% difference between his 99 and 01 Olympia physiques. He was much bigger and more impressive in 2001 muscularity-wise, although not condition-wise

And shape will only take you so far. Which is why Dorian won over guys like Nasser and Flex and Kevin.
