quicker = same as faster
explosive = oly lifters

NFL athletes have a combination of all three abilites that neither oly lifters and sprinters have.  sprinters may be straight ahead faster for 100 m. can a sprinter beat a WR in a 40 yard dash? No. Are they quicker, definetly not.

Oly lifters would get destroyed by olinemen and dlinemen. There explosiveness is concentrated in a single movement and thats it.  Cmon man.

Don't you think that NFL would've diffused into something as good as you hype it up to be, seeing as The Superbowl is "the most watched sports event in the world"? I've never heard of a World Cup of Gridiron.   100 years of the game not enough to generate other countries to have pro leagues?

Just because people have a passing interest in a game, doesn't mean they actively participate in/have passion for it. And the same goes the other way. The head of AIG said it best when they sponsored Man U's kit. He said he didn't do it for the European market, he did it for Asia. China is huge for football (and basketball) but don't have the greatest infrastructure for it. India is a different kettle of fish altogether.

But that's alright, you've got your Superbowl half-time show and an ailing economy.  

Pretty sure the rest of the world is just a bunch of pussies who couldnt hang on an NFL field.
