Prison isnt a big deal here in California. If you have a level head you'll do fine. Obviously you will have to side up with your race and eventually put in work. Everyone does... Fighting, stabbings happen but not every day. Remeber you have to live here so they try to make it as easy as possible. LA County is way worse than state prison. Unless you're in the SHU: Corcoran or the bay where politics are so thick long standing prisoners on good terms get killed for no reason sometimes.

Prison politics and power is a very addicting thing. Being able to have anyone killed or stabbed by snapping your fingers is too dangerous. Due to all the boredom everyone eventually begins fighting each other.. same race and all!!!

I'm a pretty tough guy and lived in some of the worst neighborhoods with the lowest of the lowlifes growing up, but I'm don't think I have the mentality to make it in a full max prison.
Prison is divided by blacks, mexicans and aryans. I'm neither of those, so I'd never be able to be part of the major gangs which means I'd be an outsider the whole time. Not what you want to be in that shit hole.

Last I checked, most states in the US don't enforce sodomy laws, so you shouldn't worry about doin' time.

yep pretty much, I'm not proud at all but I also don't feel bad - it was a small stretch and that was enough for me to get my shit together - never been arrested or locked up since.

I was facing up to five years jail back in April
I kinda got used to the fact that I was gonna do some time
Ended up getting probation but I would not have liked to do jail for the main reason that the amount of time you get to think about things on the outside wouls wreck my head
