The pats are definitely vulnerable.

the browns have a history of punching the big boys in the mouth.

remember when the giants were like 10-1 or 9-0 a couple years ago? MNF browns-giants. The browns controlled that game from the first snap.

Watching the Pats get annihilated by Cleveland and almost lose to Indy (Peyton could've easily won that game) says more than blowing out the Jets in a rivalry game. Teams always play above their capabilities in rivalry games and last night was no exception. The Pats defense isn't anywhere near good enough to handle a team of Atlanta's caliber.

if the falcons won that game you would be listing it as one of their "big" wins ::)

and were only the falcons not living up to their potential in week 1?

dennis dixon is one of the worst quarterbacks i've ever seen, they couldn't beat him and that's a fact

I don't think Dixon is that bad....and the Steelers were just reluctant to allow him to do anything more than manage the games he played in......which incidently he did very well.

What was their record w/him?  And where in my post do you see "played well?"  I said he managed the games well, which he did.

2-1 THIS YEAR

Last year he played very well against ravens last year for his first Start.

Now he dosent get 1st team reps because we have Big Ben. But i think if he got 1st team reps and more experience.. dude would do very well

thats what I thought.....and like you mentioned, he was tearing it up at Ore before the injury.  I think he has some potential.

Espn Power Rankings

1 (1) Falcons 10-2 The 10-2 Falcons have to like their chances with two of their final four games against Carolina. (Sando)
2 (2) Patriots 10-2 The Patriots look unbeatable at home, which bodes well for the playoffs. (Clayton)
3 (5) Steelers 9-3 There's not a better defensive closer in the NFL right now than safety Troy Polamalu. (Walker)
4 (4) Ravens 8-4 Despite big names, the offense needs to score more consistently to win down the stretch. (Walker)

1 - 1

he didn't finish the 3rd start

what exactly is "managing the game well"?

handing the ball off because you can hardly complete a pass?

he didn't win the titans game, he got hurt and batch took over

he ran for a nice td against the ravens, other than that he was completely ineffective

he's a career backup at best, what he did at oregon means nothing, and he wasn't even an eric crouch in college

c'mon Earl you have watched enough football to know what it is....think Trent Dilfer with the Ravens.  Dixon stepped in and I remember people saying Pitts might start 1-3......well it didn't happen.   There have been plenty of QBs who had nice careers just managing games, not turning the ball over, etc...

and i feel the better team lost in october, even though a 4th string qb was playing

E

yeah Earl....I get it. Anybody playing behind Ben is considered 4th string. We were lucky to win.

But good luck keeping Ben healthy for the rest of the season with that shitty O-line. Suggs and Ngata lived in the Steelers backfield all game long.

the steeler defense played almost perfect while dixon was in

trust me he played no part in the ONE WIN with him starting the game

trent dilfer made a pro bowl in 97, he wasn't as bad as people seem to think

think about this, dixon's biggest play was a 30 yard run

do you really want your qb's biggest play in 3 games to be a run?  i don't
