Hell yeah, man. It sucked that the mafia related ties with the big wigs inherently lead to the demise of Pride. I still have one of those dope Pride jerseys (black, red trim, white on the sides) and all the oldschool MMA vets always comment me and tell me how nostalgic they get when they see the Pride emblem. They treated their fighters like rock stars and gave them the recognition they deserved. At least Dream is a lot like Pride. It will still never feel the same though.
I should note that just because a lot of fags like MMA, that doesn't mean that MMA is gay. A lot of homosexuals love blowjobs, but does that mean that blowjobs are ruined for a heterosexual??? HELL NO!!! It was the inception of The Ultimate Fighter reality TV show that really made MMA, especially UFC, mainstream. It should go without saying.
And while we're on the subject, I recommend that people try watching that show. I didn't watch the first season because of all the douchebaggery it created, but I went back and watched it later and it was actually really good. I've watched all the seasons now and they're pretty entertaining. I like everything aside from the sloppy heavy weights that get winded in fights before anyone's even damaged their opponent. LHW and below is almost always entertaining.
