I just purchased an LCD TV this month (I got a 46" Samsung, model LN46B650 - 1080p, 120 Hz Auto Motion Plus, with internet capabilities - youtube, twitter facebook etc.)
I spent a lot of time doing research on TV's and I came to the conclusion that the TOP 2 brands are Samsung and Sony... and they are priced EXACTLY the same to the cent! Samsung has a tad bit of a nicer pic...
Then there is everyone else, everyone else with different qualities and different prices... I would put Vizio in the upper middle of the everyone else group.. Prices are good and picture is good in my opinion, espeically the newer Vizio models... plus their LED (if you wanna go that route) is well priced! Vizio has come a long way from when they first came out!!
Also if you are looking at the budget LCD's, dont discount Best Buy's Insignia line - they're not bad!
