In your first post above you say you believe he got in... now you say you neither know nor care if he got in. Why are you backtracking? I only point this out because you initially left the clear impression that a decidedly unfair advantage was given to a NA—even one of (fictitious) fractional extraction. This is inflammatory and prejudicial, and it stokes the fires of bigotry against Native Amnericans. Something they certainly do not need more of.
Because, I don't know or care, that is why I said I believe he did, he was filling out apps for scholarships for Florida state, I am pretty sure he went to school there, but I am not sure he got a scholarship for being 1/32 Seminole. It's not backtracking, I don't know if he did get it or not, all I can tell you is what he said to me. Nor do I care, I thought it was odd. Just like there was a white girl in my class who said that Thomas Jefferson was messing around with some of her ancestors and supposedly had some illegimate kids with them, this was before the Sally hemmings thing broke out. And here is another eye roller, I also went to school with the descendant of Johnny Appleseed, John Chapman, his descendant is Matt Chapman, and I went to school with Willie May's nephew. Broadneck High School, Annapolis, Md.
I had to add all those things in there, just to get a chuckle. And whole lot of eye rolls. Because you didn't believe what I was saying.
