Author Topic: attaining Go4it leans with mainly upper body training getting back to my old  (Read 1700 times)

 i find that if i do all upper body it seems i have an endless will to work only upper body, if i do lower i lose that will to stand and do an exercise, thighs get too big when they dont need to be, but when i do a shitload of feet elevated pushups and regular style i look and FEEL much better i dont feel so run down with a spent lower body, i think its bad to work lower body everyday , for one you dont want thighs rubbing together and secondly it takes away from the will to hit upper body, and for me i feel my upper body needs alot more punishment than my lower since im STANDING and working all day keeping my 240 pound mass up in the air.

lower body is like "safety energy" for me it seems since i dont really lose lower body from standing and working infact thats what keeps size on my legs and only seldomly training htem, after all when u stand your keeping your 200 pound mass up, but since legs are larger muscles you dont feel it making much stress but only when you do a shitload of lower body is when standing becomes a chore

but when training massively on upper body you dont have problems like "thighs rubbing together" and shit like that wich is an inconveience

ive also found i look my best in older pics when i didnt hit lower body, my legs were still kinda cut but not as big

there have been times where ive had good lower and upper body but thats only because i worked out all day and worked just 20-25 hours a week when younger

notice this pic where not training lower body, i still have quads but they arent blown up or really diced, however my upper body is much more diced

at the last getbig i actually had better shape in quads cause i was doing full body but horrible fat upper
body because leg training is too draining if done everyday

it was a hot summer too but i remember not doing much lower body at the time but thinking that i need to do lower body

i feel like if you use up leg muscles you cant really do much else cause you cant walk anywhere when you hit legs reall hard,

i think i used to hit legs overly hard since you always here that it produces the most hormones, but onthe flip side it uses up the most hormones, wich is good if your job doesnt require manual labor

nothing worse then having legs so trashed that working normally becomes a workout. You can trash upper body beyond comprehension but still have that lower body recovery to do just about anything else, so you can blow the hell up your upper body but still have very recoverd and feeling good leg muscles to stand and continue to do curls or something

that was right before getbig 2 i got staph shortly after these pics, I actually had staph during the getbig 2 on the crook of my left arm but hid it well to not to disturb people, i figured eventually i would come clean and tell the truth

i know the protien is essential thats why im back on the powders, but yeah those pics are when the staph started as nothing more than redness on the crook of my left arm, i was progressivly looking better and better till the staph

I don't... you said it yourself, compound movements like ones used training legs release alot of hormones... anabolic ones... :D
