I have witnessed some LOCAL bodybuilders that gotten nice endorsement contracts from MHP and Muscletech.  These guys didnt even win local shows but got endorsements based on potential like Brewer and like Brewer none of them ever came close to even winning.  I think a supp company would be better served by giving $$$$ to a competing pro.  It seems anymore that its just who you know in the industry to get a contract

there is something else that is required to be successful getting endorsement contracts:  you have to be photogenic.  That's why Stan McQuay was making more money from endorsements as an amateur than did most pros.    Then there is something about having 'the look' that the target audience can relate to.    Stan had that as an amateur, not so much at the heavier weight required to be a pro.

Well, I already sent emails with resume, cover letter and photos to 20-25 supplement company. Maybe 5 of them answered... 4 of them with negative answer, 1 of them with a pathetic offer...but that's OK I really need money...then 2 weeks later they canceled the offer without any explanation...  

I can't believe these things... My heart says that I should continue and try to do my best and my time will come but my brain says the opposite.

Keep plugging, Steve, but diversify too. Find something non-bodybuilding related to make a career out of, something you can do well past your career in bodybuilding. Shit, when you're in Vegas, throw on a suit and attend some trade shows. Every day of the year there's several there and there's money to be made.

American bodybuilders are using tons of GH and insulin.  yet these european kids have a thickness that most of the top american amateurs don't.  The europeans are more reminiscent of the physiques of the early 80s, with thick chests.  what is available in europe that is hard to get here?  Maybe its something as simple and old-school as dianabol.    or maybe americans rely too much on hammer strength machines.

Honestly, that kid has the perfect balance of size and cuts... that's a flawless physique right there,  he should just do all he can to maintain that physique and not do anything stupid and try to get bigger...absolutely fucking perfect proportions.

supplements are not nearly as big a business in the rest of the world because they have stricter laws regarding marketing crap
