you miss the point lurie is what bodybuilding interesting in the 50's and early 60's he challenged everyone from bob hoffman to john grimek to joe weider to contests. that's why the sport is stale today no ifbb fighting with the wbbg who's also fighting with the aau. one guy had three names so he could compete in all the orgs. ed guke=ed gerge=eric hunter. all the same guy.

both lurie and weider sold crappy barbells and equipment at least hoffman's and peary rader stuff was built to last. my nephew almost amputated his fingers useing one of weiders crappy benches with the leg extension unit.

Yes those are cool, they used those before the leg curl machine came out.
they suck there painful to use, my pair is like the bottom one you slip dumbell bars through them and attach weights. i just keep them around because there like a history piece.
