In truth, the only bigtime sponsorship hit Tiger is likely to take is from Accenture and that's just a guess on my part. Nike isn't going *anywhere*, because he's their only true inroad into the golf market they so desperately covet and he is THE inroad. As big as Jordan was to the NBA, Tiger is bigger. Yes, millions more people play basketball than golf, but golfers spend a LOT more per person each year on their game, apparel, equipment, etc.

No matter what Oprah, Perez Hilton, or Elisabeth Hasselbeck says, Tiger's going to come out of this as strong a brand as he ever was. That's a GetBig guarantee.

Yeah, he was 'officially' off the payroll for 2 years and they quietly worked him back into the mix, giving a gentle finger to the man-hating women's groups who opposed his new contract.

I know the cases are similar, because of the infidelity, but with Kobe, there was also a rape allegation and even though he was eventually cleared, Nike had to be proactive from a PR standpoint. I really don't think we'll see them drop Tiger. Expect their statement to be along the lines of 'respecting Tiger's and Elin's wishes for privacy as they deal with what is a family matter, not a corporate one'.

Well, at least we know once and for all that Tiger's black now. (no racist)

We'll he's tied to his wife because they have a child together.

Though he got caught cheating on his wife big time...to me this is a personal issue, there are a lot bigger stories for the public to worry about.

Not sure if he'll loose any sponsors...anything related to family he should loose.
