Well, I am ashamed.
But I see Nasser is better than Flex.
Simply Nasser outmass Flex too much for me.

It's a toss up. Nasser's back is no where near as conditioned or detailed, but he hangs with Flex in the front and side shots. Amazing for a guy that large!

I'm a big fan of both. Fucking awesome competition. Levrone looks like SHIT though :(

Flex, thanks to Shawn Ray training got back into shape. He was 224 there. If he was a little sharper I would say he may have beaten his 93 conditioning. And after this Shawn was notgoing to train with him for the Mr O, Shawn said, why would I train my enemy, and I agree. Flex got mad with that. No wonder Flex messed his conditioning up, he knew he couldn't duplicate his 97 Asc conditioning for the 97 Mr O.

Was this around the time flex was training with Cormier and Rico or before?

Mass ain't nothing without shape and cuts. By your standard, Greg Kovacs would have beaten both Flex and Nasser.

thx for these pics ND..

in all fairness nasser was better and more complete than flex in all front and side poses!!.. flex torso was narrow and his lats were small in comparison with nasser.. nasser killed him especially in the front lat spread and the abs/thigh as these 2 poses always exposed flex weakness.. as for rear shots I see that flex was much better in the rear double biceps and nasser was better in the rear lat spread..

Nasser = OWNED in every shot by Flex
I am a mini beast

I don't know .I know that Flex used to train with both Rico and Chris, and even one time with Kevin. But I have idea who Flex trained with  after the Shawn Ray debacle

I think Francois looks pretty great, was it his condition which put him behind Flex and Nasser? Cos he has legs where Flex doesn't and a back where Nasser doesn't.

who knew Ronnie could still keep growing?

Guy was already big there, big chest, big detailed back, huge arms, and yet he got bigger, better still the following 2 years!

Priest and Levrone look horrible there, and it was like that most of their careers, and still they are fan favorites. I can't make sense of that.

Kevin would do the big Kev lil Kev thing. You didn't know which one would show up. Plus, it is believed he really took the Mr. O seriously, for he always showed up in condition there. It is hard for them to peak twice in one year. So why try it, just go to the Arnold get 4th and make some cash and then prepare for the O

I think this was his last competition before he shaved his head. His midsection looked a mess. No visible abs. That's what happens when you're 250+ pounds.

Flex destroy Nasser with his lines. In-fucking-sane v-taper, he has the sickest structure ever. The epitome of a perfect physique. Still no ripped hamstrings and I remember everyone raving about his condition at that show. Who cares though he looks sick.
