This video always cracked me up and Jeremy Clarkson should be the fucking president.  He was a little harsh on the truck tho (the right hand conversion fucked up the interior) and he thinks americans all sleep with our sisters and watch nascar.

Just like all Brits have horrible teeth, big ears and produce the ugliest (most pasty) women in the world  ::)  Btw, Clarkson owns a ford GT (which uses the same engine block that's found in the lightning).  Clarkson went as far as calling the GT the best supercar in the world (at the time he purchased it).  He spends a ton of time in California.  He's got a complex.

I just think that the SRT was more Badass. as you said, it was heavier. And it was end game for the Sport truck fad, piss poor sales for the Dodge. I think Dodge had something to do with that, as well as the timing.  Ford were planning on a another Lightning with some type of Supercharger tech that kept it cool, forgot it's name. But then they shelved it. Just like they shelved their V10, they had a working prototype that they put in a Mustang, then I believe they put it in the Shelby GR1 show car. Ford had a lot shit that they didn't produce because the beancounters said no. Like the Ford GT90.    You could tow with the Ford, not the Dodge. Plus now, the Dodge has more cache, because of the Viper engine. I've only seen a few of the SRT's, a whole lot more of the Ford's. Don't get me wrong, I liked it.The SRT Ram is still the fastest truck sold in America

I've seen F-350 Diesels mudering Viper trucks at the drags it was embarrassing

I gave up racing, I ride my bike,.I got a really nice Street bike.
But I have an older Vette Roadster, that I am thinking of building up..we will see.
As far as Trucks go I am not a fan of Fords.I have a friend of mine that has a Chevy SSR that will beat ANY FORD  he comes across.
He has got a supercharger, and its puts out a ton of horsepower.I just remember when he told me, I was taken back.
This truck will run mid 10's in the quarter mile. When he hits the gas the tires just spin, the truck wont even grab unless he has slicks on.
He said on the street he has to roll off of the line, because if he just hits the gas, the tires will just spin and he wont go anywhere.
I went for a ride in this truck .....man.You need a dam Neck brace, because when he hits the peddle it whips your head back.
This isn't a pic of his truck, but it is a pic of an SSR, because most people don't even know what an SSR IS, LOL

i got my first bike when i was 6 years old. my dad got me a suzuki gsxr 750 for my 11th bday. i am more at home on a bike than in a car.

i got my 2 hayabusa's ones is a full blown 550 hp turbo bike that is still street legal ;D and the other just has heads, cams, 3mm bore(1397cc) and a 30 shot of nitrous.

i also have a 2008 cbr1000, a 2001 929rr(favorite), and my frankenbike....which is just a bunch of random ass parts slapped on to a xx blackbird frame. i honestly dont even know what engine is in it ;D

i buy and sale a lot of bikes. but the busa's, and the 929 are now permanent.

That's a bit of a wild generalisation.

Us Brits do not think you all watch Nascar.
;D ;D.Sooo, you DO think we sleep with our sisters?

Hey, Bench, about that E39 M5, I don't think it has 800 either. Plus the Double Vanos on that engine was troublesome. I just can't stand these tuners, "oh yeah, we'll putt '800' hp in your car, yet you only have 275 width tires (if that)"
I think they are some of the biggest scammers right now, people just want bragging rights.

But, i have a question. I have a Lexus IS300, and I know you are familiar with that engine. I want to keep the engine stock, so I want to go with a Vortec Supercharger. It will take it up to 305 hp and 272 lb feet of torque. Do you know of any turbo systems that don't stress the engine to a degree in which I have to replace the internals? Or do you know of any other supercharger kits?
