ok samson ::)

C'mon Hugo... really!  :-\

I'm going to assume you're just being sarcastic, because anything else simply portrays you as desperately & pathetically grasping for straws.

It's a fact, some schools will do their darndest to instill in the kids that they are the future "workers" of tomorrow. While other schools will raise teach their students to see themselves as the future leaders of tomorrow. Then there are the Jesuits. lol. They'll get your brain firing on ALL cylinders. You don't come out of a Jesuit school without learning how to think 50 steps ahead of the next guy.

I think it was MB_22 who once posted a clip that sums it up rather nicely.
George Carlin also touched on it in one of his comedy routines.

Hi, I sell gas caps but I'm truly enlightened and in the know with my 170 IQ.  ::)

Actually it's a 160 IQ. since it appears to be so incredibly important to you, I figured you'd at least want to get it right.

No, you claimed 170 and only "corrected" yourself after Tapper called you out on it and mentioned that Einstein's IQ was estimated to be 160. You made a mistake I guess.  ::)

Ok, again I have to stop and reply before reading more.  WTF!!!  You're goddamned fucking right I believe in America!  America IS the greatest concept ever conceived.  There is no fantasy about it.  It is.  That does not mean we don't face challenges and lows.  There is no perfection implied from the start.  We have to see and overcome.  The founding fathers designed it better than ever before for the people to be able to do just that.  It will work, and it will work best when we are all honest and forthright.  Which you have not been in an absolute lie.  And at this level of discussion, you had by god better be a fucking American because you're treading into territory you don't have any business being unless you are.

Great post!

No.  I have only been to Canada.  Anything I can by hear?

The closest I have gotten to the UK is my neighborhood which is mostly Irish off the boat.  There are more irish in my hood of Woodlawn than anywhere outside of ireland.

Does that count?  ;D

so essentially your judgement about England and english food is based on nothing  ;D

I lived in the USA for a while and I enjoyed it, especially when I lived in NYC and I also enjoyed living in DC, but if im honest with you I prefer Britain, has all the things the states has but also has history and quirkiness to it that I found just doesnt exist in large parts of the USA. After a while in the USA i just felt like i was seeing generic town after generic town, same shops, same strip malls, same boring looking schools and houses and I hated that you couldnt do anything without a car.

thats just my ten cents...both the USA and UK will give you a good quality of life if you're willing to work for it.

p.s. your curry houses are terrible, didnt find one decent curry house and not thru lack of trying

No I claimed 160, and adjusted it to 140 after Beach Bum pointed out Einstein's IQ was 160 and that the minimum requirement to get into Mensa was 140. I then "corrected" myself, pointing out my adjustment was erred, and that my IQ was indeed 160 the last time it was measured. After having read these boards, ...and specifically YOUR posts over the last few years tho, ...I wouldn't at all be surprised to discover it may have gone down... considerably.

BTW - Are you suggesting Beach Bum is Tapper?

Ah, that explains it, you see I used to work a FERMI Lab and had to deal with the physicist there, all the high IQ'ers. Sure they could solve a equation that took up 3 room sized black boards, but had the common sense of a rock.

It's a shame your high IQ doesn't enable you to correctly calculate your high IQ.

I wasn't the one who calculated it... Mensa was. I  just have difficulty remembering it because it is so insignificant to me. For some reason tho... it is of paramount importance to BerzerkFury.  :-\

I won't. While it's unlikely this has ever been taught in an American public school, it could very well have been taught in a private one. there are certain curriculae that must be met, ...outside of that, ...especially in a private school... anything can be taught, and any subject delved into with greater depth & scope than may exist elsewhere.

I can tell you the subject matter, the depth, scope, and general attitudes differ from one school to the next.
Kids are not taught the same things in Jarvis Collegiate that they are in Upper Canada College. Teachers & curriculae will often focus on technical or vocational courses in one area, while another school may focus more heavily on academia.

You're kidding yourself Hugo. It may have only been since the 90's that you first got wind of it, ...but people have been discussing this for years. Maybe not in YOUR social milieu.

It also requires the ability to truly see yourselves and what you have become. That's something many if not most Americans are unable to do... no matter how willing they may be. The lies are too far ingrained, and to erase the program, and input a more accurate set of data would be too traumatic. Faced with the truth, most would prefer to ignore it or pretend that the truth was the lie. The truth poses too much of a threat to their ordered existence and the realization that something you knew to be true was in fact a lie... leaves too much room to question EVERYTHING they know to be true, or that they hold dear. It's too much of a mind fvck for most.

Hey Jag

I was going to elaborate on this as you have done (nice job), but came to the realization that i would be wasting my time with Hugo. The revelation of what america is about, what it has done, who controls it, where it is heading, what its real history is, is as foreign to him and others as a language spoken by a remote people in a remote place in another galaxy. Sadly this information has been leaking for some time. I remember my teachers telling the 'book' history of america and then saying "that is what is written" here is what really happened. There is a saying about the Truth and the TALE and when question ALWAYS TELL THE TALE. Why? because the tale sounds a lot more interesting, fascinating and exciting....The TALE is the LIE... and so has been the telling of the history of what has gone on in american history.

Did you see his post where he presented the link to about a thousand history books where he asked me to find one book that shows a school teaching this? I asked him to present the book of the Warren Report that shows what really happened to and who killed Kennedy...he failed. The I asked him to find in the  911 Commission Report what really happened on 911... he failed. My point was not to try and get into the silly exchange he wanted to take this discussion in, but to let him know that the history of events in america have been deliberately skewed/changed/lied about for the sake of keeping people from knowing the truth. Nonetheless there are always people who know the truth and who make it their business to inform others  and to them I am thankful, lest I end up as confused as he is on issues such as this.

His reaction is IRONIC to say the least considering how much he worships Alex Jones...a person who researches and makes it his business to inform others of the truths of things. Maybe I should have said Alex Jones was my teacher...Hugo would have gladly accepted what I said without resistance.....
