i agree that nasser was better in 95 and especially 96 than 97 but you are wrong to say he carried more mass in 97 than 96!!.. in 96 he was more than 280 pounds while in 97 he was 270!!..

and what about his front lowerbody? ::) his quads were clearly better than dorian's from the front and also from the side.. his hams too were bigger and more separated.. beside back dorian had him only in calves, both had great calves but imo dorian's can be considered the best calves ever!..

I believe you on the weight difference between '96 and '97, you seem to know your shit. He was bigger overall than Dorian and had good detail on his quads and hams too but separation is not the only thing: as Nasser got bigger he lost a part of his conditioning mainly the density on which Dorian had him everytime. That also comes into this equation. And that translated clearly on all back poses where he actually even lost separation. And you know it, since Hany, back wins Os.

yes, but thats not right in my opinion...and should change. specially as nasser had a plenty big back. i often see that kind of argumentation, 'thats how it is'...my answer they should change how it is. if the best bodybuilder on stage isnt allowed to win then they should change the criteria, because they are flawed.

So you think that they should't be judged on their muscular quality but only quantity? Considering that Pro Bbers use tons of ergogenics off all sorts, it's not that hard for them to put on mass and to get ripped even. What stays as the only valid criteria of some sort of effort in fact is the muscular density which is not obtainable without a certain training intensity. So I actually think that that criterai should prevail. And that's why Yates preaviled so many times. He LIFTED weights, pushed himself to the limit and it showed at the end of the day.

It's been at the finishing stage for almost 3 years.

Nasser probably has a hard time focusing with one eye wobbling all over.
If he actually showed consistency he would have won more than just 6 competitions throughout his career.

Word is Yates planted mics at Nasser's place to get training infos. Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman didn't get enough conclusive evidence this time but I hear they still can't sleep at night because of this.
