I saw him in a strip club here in Toronto back in '96 after a house show and he was hammered out of his mind and he was so fucking big that he had to duck under the doorway.

Jimmy Snuka, Paul Orndorff, Road Warriors, Rick Rude and Don Muraco were among the first ones.

Orndorff always looked good until after his surgery when his affected arm was considerably smaller than the other.
He still went out & posed, doing the Mr. Wonderful thing, but it wasn’t the same.

Some people criticized Vince, claiming he did that for his own amusement.
But, that was Paul’s gimmick.
What else would he have done?

Truthfully, he was lucky just to have been working.

That was a shame with the arm injury.  I remember Orndorff as an NWA tt champ with Snuka when they very first broke in.  His time in Georgia was probably his best work, IMO.  That was right before he jumped to the WWF.

my favorite orndorf bit  was when he was walking around the gym putting people down.

I forgot about that gem (Orndorff). He had one of the best builds in the eighties in pro wrestling.

When Vince signed Sid to be the next WWF “savior” and gave him certain treatments previously reserved for Hogan, it really went to his head.

Anyway, Sid was “enjoying himself” in an Atlanta bar with a few WCW wrestlers & workers. Before long, he was running his mouth about his pay raise, the limousine rides, etc., when a couple of the WCW boys had heard enough and physically threw him out of the place.

Stoned Sid went out to his car to retrieve a weapon and returned to the bar “armed” with what appeared to be some type of blade/pipe/crowbar/slapjack, when one of the referees (I think it may have been Randy Anderson) discovered the nature of the “foreign object.”

It’s a squeegee. He’s holding a FUKKING SQUEEGEE!
Then Anderson – all 145 lbs. of him – told Sid, “Get out of here before I stick that thing up your ass!”
The full reality of the situation sank in and Sid quietly turned around & left.
He was gone from the Fed soon after that.

My guy was lex growing up. Not too massive. Nice powerful athletic build. Warrior had a nice build also. I remember Tatanka had nice size also along with some other guys.

I remember when Triple H version 2.0 hit the scene...I was in the military then....we were watching on duty and when he took that walk to the ring we were like DAMN. Impressive...very.

Batista wasn't too shabby either when he hit the scene. This is after he was leviathan and went solo I'm talking about. Back when he used to hit the double bi pose before he can to the ring. His intensity was greater back then imo. Even his orig. intro vid with him hitting the weights was intense.

I heard about that too. That's typical Sid. He stabbed Arn Anderson some + times with a pair of sissors when they where both in WCW (after that WWE incident) in a hotel over seas and bth men had to be taken away. Arn kept his job due to hid buddies and pull and Sid was canned like a tuna. He really is crazy.

I think Sid was poised to be one of those guys who could have had it all.
He already had so much going for him - the look, the size, the power, etc.

I'm not saying he would have been the next Hogan, but he could easily have worked the top of the card where ever he went - as either a face, or more likely a top heel working with the top babyfaces.

He got some good pushes, but then he did stupid shit like the above-mentioned incidents.

He's had all the oppurtunity but his constant stupidity costs him all the time. If you look at his career, he's never had more than a 1-2 year stint in a territiory before leaving or being released to go elsewhere.

Superstar Billy Graham in the seventies had a killer physique that paved the way for the Steiner, Ventura, Hogan and other big guys.

Take all the muscle men of pro wrestling and...If you could line them all up on stage while in their prime in a bodybuilding contest ....who would win ? My pick....Tony Atlas.

Warrior has got to be in the top 2-3, Lugar was pretty jacked.  Rick Rude, that's who I wanted to look like, even though he had no legs.

How about Kerry Von Erich....not a huge guy but decent chest

I too liked Luger although his arms always seemed unproportional to his body....I would love to surface a video when he first came out as the Narcissist. He was in the ring with Heenan behind a curtain and it came up slowly with Bobby creaming.....

Rumors were Lex was going post at a WBF show and had really started juicing, had his motorcycle accident and was sidelined

Yeah, Lex's original deal was a WBF contract.
It sounds like when the company folded, they just transferred his contract to the wrestling end.

I didn’t know that Lex’s accident was around that time.
That was a pretty impressive recovery, IMO, given how good he looked at his ring debut.
